WinWinD employs 230 persons in Finland and 120 persons in India. WinWinD has head office in Helsinki, two production premises in Finland and one turbine and blade factory in India. Third production line in Finland is under construction and will be opened end of this year. Totally 100 WinWinD wind turbines are running today in Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Portugal, France and the Czech Republic.
WinWinD’s wind turbine technology differentiates from other manufacturers by using Multibrid® technology, which combines the reliability of a modern direct drive and the compactness of the traditional high speed gear system. An advanced planetary gear solution and low speed permanent magnet synchronous generator form the heart of the concept, with the most significant benefits obtained have been operating reliability and high availability. Combining this with a full scale frequency converter to produce grid friendly electricity means our turbines meet even the strictest grid operator requirements. Electricity is generated with high efficiency throughout the whole operational range, even at low wind speeds.
WinCare is a global operation and maintenance service which provides long term reliable operation of turbines. WinCare’s remote monitoring team and network of professional local service partners provide around the clock service for WinWinD’s customers.
